G1710... POLYURETHANE RECOIL Tired of stiff, kinking, or easily damaged self-storing hoses, but dislike the bulk of rubber hose? Polyurethane Recoil is the answer! Polyurethane will bounce back again and again despite crushing or kinking. The working length of the hose is 80 to 90% of actual length, and is easier to use than conventional nylon or hytrel recoil hoses due to the superior elastic proper ties of urethane. G1712… REINFORCED POLYURETHANE RECOIL For applications where higher pressure and increased kink resistance is preferred, we also offer polyurethane recoil with a spiral yarn reinforcement. Since for all thermoplastic hoses the working pressure drops as temperature increases, a rein forced hose is preferred at elevated temperatures. Polyair was the first air hose that used specialty polymers to create a rubber-like feel. G922 has a large following in the construction trades for use with nailing and stapling equip ment. Compared to similar rubber hoses, Polyair is lighter and smoother so it glides over surfaces easily and with less wear. Don't confuse genuine Polyair with knock-offs! The growth of this hose in the Canadian market has caused many competitors to try to copy it - without success! Look for the genuine product to appreciate the true quality of this hose. Tube : Black, high molecular-weight, medium oil-resistant polymer compound. Reinforcement : High-tensile spiralled polyester yarn with lon gitudinal cords to give added strength and reduce elongation. Cover : Smooth, abrasion and weather resistant, high molecular weight polymer compound. Temperature Range : -25°C (-13°F) to 65°C (150°F).

Tube : White, medium oil-resistant, smooth, low-temperature PVC compound. Reinforcement : High-tensile spiral polyester yarn. Cover : Smooth, blue, abrasion and weather resistant, low temperature hybrid polymer compound. Temperature Range : -54°C (-65°F) to 65°C (150°F). In 1981 we introduced Poly-Air® to Canada from Japan, and it set the standard for flexibility in a PVC air hose. Today, it has been surpassed by North Wind, our first hybrid polymer hose rated for use at -54°C. North Wind has an amazingly supple and flexible feel at room temperature and in winter, when when most PVC hoses (and even some rubber ones) turn into rigid pipe, North Wind is still a flexible air hose.

Tube : Smooth, black, electrically conductive EPDM rubber. Reinforcement : High tensile spiralled yarn; two spirals in sizes up to 1" and four spirals in sizes 1 1 ⁄ 4 " and above. Cover : Smooth, red, abrasion and weather resistant EPDM rubber. Size 2" features a wrapped finish. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 100°C (212°F). Our G222 Multi-Purpose hose is extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of industries and applications including construction, agriculture, and the marine industry. It is most commonly used for conveying air to nailers, staplers, and jack hammers, or water for hot or cold water washdown. The EPDM tube and cover is resistant to heat, weather, ozone, and abrasion making it suitable for mild chemical products used in industrial and agricultural applications. This highly flexible, kink-resistant hose is rated to -40°C and has a working pressure of 300 psi in sizes up to 1".

Push-On hose, when used with Push-On fittings, provides fast and neat hose assemblies without the use of clamps or ferrules. Because hoses can be assembled quickly and without tools, Push-On is popular for air lines on lumber sorters, newsprint handling equipment, and machinery production lines. Since the hose is resistant to most lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids, G103 is popular for hydraulic case drains and vent lines as well as general automotive service. Push-On makes a great shop air hose in oily environments. Tube : Smooth, black, oil resistant Class A nitrile rubber. Not for use with gasoline or diesel fuels. One male end is a swivel to prevent hose twisting except for the 119H Tempest Steam Cleaning hoses, which are solid at each end.
