Brewer’s Softwall has a taste-free and odorless butyl rubber tube and cover to withstand high alcohol content. Butyl rub ber also has better resistance than natural rubber to modern sterilization solutions containing mixtures of peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide. The large wall thickness on Brewer’s Softwall allows it to withstand light vacuum and resist kinking. G1074 Brewer's Softwall meets 3-A Sanitary Standards as well as the stringent European standards EC 1935/04 and EC 2023/06. Tube : Smooth, white, non-toxic, phthalate free, butyl rubber to FDA standards. Reinforcement : Multiple layers of synthetic textile cords. Cover : Red, abrasion resistant butyl rubber with wrapped finish. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 120°C (248°F) however short period, open-end steam sterilization is permissible for cleaning purposes.
