G822DEF… DEF DISPENSER

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a solution of urea and de-ionized water that is sprayed into the exhaust systems of diesel-powered vehicles. It is also known as AdBlue™ and is standardized as ISO 22241. The fluid reacts to break down nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide pollutants. Our DEF Dispenser hose has a tube made from a special sulfur free EPDM rubber that results in no contamina tion of the fluid as per ISO 22241-2. For hose assemblies, it is important to select only fittings made from specific materials to come into contact with DEF fluid. In order to prevent corro sion which may contaminate the fluid and render if ineffective or potentially damage engine components, please refer to the table below when selecting your end fittings.

Tube : Smooth, black, antistatic, sulfur free EPDM rubber for mulated for diesel exhaust fluid. Reinforcement : High tensile synthetic textile cords. Cover : Smooth, black, antistatic, heat and weather resistant EPDM rubber. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 100°C (212°F), intermit tent service up to 120°C (248°F).

Tube : Seamless oil resistant nitrile rubber. Reinforcement : One high tensile steel wire braid. Cover : Oil, abrasion, and weather resistant black synthetic rubber. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 100°C (212°F), petro leum base fluids intermittent to 125°C (257°F). Fittings : Solid brass 1 ⁄ 8 " male pipe (NPTF) thread with ball seats to seal with tapered pipe or NPSM swivel pipe fittings. Note : Longer lengths are available on request. Grease Whips provide a flexible connector between the grease gun and grease fitting to allow easier access to the tight and awkward spaces where grease nipples always seem to be located. Our grease whip hose assemblies are rubber to remain flexible at low temperatures and feature a wire braid for better life and coupling retention.
