Pulsar Hydraulics does not sell or recommend rubber or thermoplastic hose or hose assemblies for temporary or permanent piping systems in commercial or residential applications. Rubber and thermoplastic hose are manufactured using specialized elastomers which age over time and eventually may fail. Typical misapplications: ■■ heat pumps ■■ fan coil units ■■ appliances ■■ temporary heating or cooling ■■ chiller units ■■ expansion joints Failure in these applications will result in property damage. There are all-metal flexible hose connectors that are specifically designed for service as expansion joints, heat pumps, and fan coil connectors. Only those products are recommended.
