CUT-OFF SAWS

CS… HYDRAULIC HOSE CUT-OFF SAW

Our CS-110 cut-off saw comes complete with a 12" scalloped blade and can cut hoses as small as 3 ⁄ 16 " I.D. and as large as 2" I.D. Four Spiral hose. This saw is perfect for users that do not require an expensive saw as well as for those who have electrical power limita tions. The powerful high torque motor makes cutting easier and fast er, while the scalloped 12" blade dissipates heat and reduces friction. The blade is also reversible, can be easily removed and reinstalled for sharpening, and features a 1" arbor. Additional features of the CS 110 cut-off saw include an easy-to-use front face plate with adjust able pins to hold the hose securely in place for a straight cut every time. Permanent mounting brackets allow the user to attach the saw to a table or workbench while the blade guard adds additional safety for the operator. This saw has been on the market for over twenty years and has been field tested for proven quality and reliability. Note : For safety and high performance, we recommend a dedicated 20 amp circuit.

Pro Tip : To increase blade life, apply gentle, consistent pressure during your cut. When cutting spiral hose, regardless of the size, pause halfway through the cut for approximately 2 to 3 seconds to allow the blade to cool.

SCALLOPED vs SERRATED Scalloped blades are good for both wire braid and spiral hydraulic hoses and provide clean cuts. These blades can be resharpened. Ser rated blades are often favored by users cutting spiral hydraulic hose. The serrated teeth grind through the reinforcement and provide a longer service life. It is important to always use a sharp blade. Heat generated by using a dull blade can damage the steel reinforcement and flare the hose.
