Kobelco threads are very similar to metric threads and feature a 1.5 mm pitch. Sealing takes place between the 24° chamfer seat in the male connector and the respective sealing area on the female ball or cone.

SAE FLARELESS COMPRESSION ADAPTERS

Flareless Compression tube fittings, also known as Bite Type fittings, allow for connection to imperial tubing sizes without the need for flaring. A seal is created when the sleeve bites into the tubing when compressed by a threaded nut. Since these fittings do not require a flare to seal, they are commonly used on medium to heavy walled tubing. We provide replacement sleeves and nuts for use with our 4260 and 5060 Hydraulic Crimp Couplings.
