TPR... THERMOPLASTIC RUBBER DUCTING

Construction : Black, thermoplastic rubber (Santoprene®) encapsulating a galvanized wire helix. Ducting wall thickness is 0.025". Wear Strip Option : This duct is available with an external orange wear strip (part number TPRW). Temperature Range : -50°C (-58°F) to 135°C (275°F). Our TPR is constructed from the highest grade material available. The resulting product has great ozone, ultra-violet, and weather ing resistance. TPR is well suited to most industrial ventilation and light material handling applications and is also resistant to a wide variety of chemicals and solvents. The unique, flexible, rubber compound has excellent tear and puncture resistance and functions well over a wide temperature range.

Duct & Vacuum TPRW

When ducting is dragged over the ground, the fabric can wear at the wire helix, allowing the wire to protrude and the hose to fail prematurely. For commercial duct cleaning and similar applications we recommend an external wear strip over the helix.
