G1212… NYLON AIR BRAKE

Construction : Type A (sizes 1 ⁄ 8 " to 5 ⁄ 16 ") Smooth, black, light and heat stabilized Nylon 11 tubing. Type B (sizes 3 ⁄ 8 " to 3 ⁄ 4 ") Smooth, black, tube and cover made from light and heat stabilized Nylon 11, with open spiral synthetic yarn reinforcement. Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow are available in certain sizes by adding B, G, R, or Y as a suffix to the part number. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 95°C (203°F). Nylon Air Brake tubing is used for air brake, instrumentation, and air accessory lines on truck and trailer and other mobile air braking systems. Nylon tubing offers a weight and cost savings over wire and fabric reinforced rubber hoses where the abrasion and kink resistance of heavier hoses is not required. G1212 conforms to DOT FMVSS 106 requirements as well as SAE J844 specifications (J844 Type A for unreinforced sizes and Type B for reinforced sizes).

Tube : Extruded PTFE Reinforcement : One high tensile Type 304 stainless steel wire braid. Temperature Range : -54°C (-65°F) to 232°C (450°F). Fittings : Permanently attached brass SAE 45° female swivel ends. Note : The minimum bend radius on these assemblies is 6.5" Exceeding the minimum bend radius will result in kinking of the tube and premature failure.

Featuring brass female swivel ends and a stainless steel wire braid cover, our Compressor Discharge as semblies are designed to withstand temperatures up to 232°C and can be used in a variety of applications where corrosion is a concern , including air compres sor, hydraulic, or gas applications.
