G1213… COILED AIR BRAKE

Construction : Blue or red, permanently coiled, type B, smooth tube and cover made from light and heat stabilized Nylon 11, with open spiral synthetic yarn reinforcement. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 95°C (203°F). Working Pressure : Maximum 150 psi for air brake service. Used for tractor to trailer brake connections, G1213 Coiled Air Brake assemblies conform to DOT FMVSS 106 requirements as well as SAE J844 and FMCSA 393.45 specifications. The heavy duty plated spring guards are corrosion resistant for added protection while the large coil diameters prevent kinking and allow for excellent recoil memory. With no cutting required and thread sealant on male pipe threads preapplied, connecting these coiled air brake lines is quick and convenient and only requires a wrench to tighten the three-piece tractor side end fitting once attached. Complete the assembly with a gladhand and gladhand grip on the single-piece trailer side end fitting and you’re ready to roll! Color-coded for mistake free hookups, G1213 assemblies are available individually in blue (service) or red (emergency) or as a pair (G1213SET).

Construction : Blue, smooth, permanently coiled, type A, light and heat stabilized Nylon 11. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 95°C (203°F). A sliding fifth wheel connects a tractor and trailer and can slide back and forth on frame rails. By sliding the trailer, the opera tor can adjust the weight distribution over the axles as well as the distance between truck and trailer bulkhead, allowing the truck to haul a wider variety of freight. G1213 Fifth Wheel Slider assemblies conform to DOT FMVSS 106 requirements as well as SAE J844 specifications. The heavy duty plated spring guards are corrosion resistant for added protection while the excellent recoil memory ensures coils will retract without sag ging, eliminating abrasion and wear, even after prolonged use. Assemblies come complete with push-to-connect ends with pre-applied thread sealant for easy connection.
