Karcher Style Adapters Originally developed in Europe and now commonplace in North American markets, some pressure wash connections feature a metric thread. On industrial, gas-powered pressure washers, this thread is most often a Karcher thread. Karcher adapters have an M22 x 1.5 thread dimension and feature a 14 mm nose or tube bore. Simoniz Style Adapters Simoniz style adapters are commonly found on smaller, electric pow ered machines for homeowner use. It is important to note the only difference between a Simoniz thread and a Karcher thread is the tube size. While a Karcher thread has a 14 mm tube, Simoniz instead has a 15 mm nose or tube bore.
