TEMPERATURE GAUGES

This temperature gauge is commonly used to monitor water tem perature in winter where freezing will cause problems. The 2.5" long rod is back mounted and can be inserted into the water flow via a tee junction or 1⁄2" NPT pipe plug. The face is 3" diameter.

Our Bi-Metal Thermometers are manufactured in accordance with ASME B.40.3 standards for maximum accuracy and quick response. Made from Type 304 Stainless Steel, these back-mounted thermometers feature food grade, shatter-proof glass windows and are available with either 2 1 ⁄ 2 " or 4" long stems. Choose from temperature ranges of -20°C to 120°C or from 10°C to 260°C. To prevent damage to the thermometer and facilitate easy removal from processing, the use of a thermowell is recommended.

Thermowells are recommended for use in food processing to both pro tect the thermometer from damage as well as enable removal of the thermometer for replacement or repair without affecting processing. We carry thermowells designed to accept either 2 1 ⁄ 2 " or 4" stem ther mometers. They are manufactured from Type 316 Stainless Steel and feature 3 ⁄ 4 " Male Pipe (NPT) process connections for easy attachment to our Compact Female Pipe Clamp Adapters. Instrument connections are 1 ⁄ 2 " Female Pipe (NPT).
