STORM SELECTION GUIDE

PRESSURE WASH HOSE ASSEMBLIES

• • • • • • MATERIAL • • • • • • The three most common materials used for pressure wash hose assem blies found in the market today are PVC, polyurethane, and rubber. Green Line stocks rubber pressure wash hose exclusively. Rubber pressure wash hoses are the most flexible and heavy duty allowing them to stand the test of time when faced with the rigours of pres sure wash applications. Including both smooth cover and wrapped cover options, Storm pressure wash assemblies are designed to take on anything ranging from everyday use to high abrasion and weather resistant applications. • • • • • • HOSE I.D. • • • • • • Different inside diameters are used for different applications when pressure washing. Small 1 ⁄ 4 " I.D. hoses are predominantly used with small consumer-grade pressure washers and in the industrial world are primarily found in carpet cleaning applications. Larger 3 ⁄ 8 " I.D. hoses are designed for use with commercial-grade pressure washers that produce higher pressures and allow for greater flow. For use in the food and beverage industry, Green Line stocks our animal fat resistant 119Y Sun Storm assemblies in 1 ⁄ 2 " I.D. • • • • • ASSEMBLY LENGTH • • • • • The length of the pressure wash hose required will depend on the type of pressure wash machine you have. Smaller machines that are required to be plugged in or close to a power supply may require longer assemblies to reach the areas that need cleaning. Larger machines that run on gasoline may be easier to move and so a shorter hose assembly may suffice. Green Line stocks a variety of pressure wash assembly lengths to suit your needs. • • • • • • CONNECTIONS • • • • • • When choosing connections, it is important to consider both the pump and the gun. All Green Line pressure wash hose assemblies are factory made with male pipe (NPT) end fittings. One male end is a swivel which prevents hoses from twisting while in use except on 119H Tempest assemblies, which are solid at each end. For quick and easy connections, hoses are also available with straight-through quick couplings attached. Specialty connections such as Karcher or Hotsy can also be purchased separately. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Green Line stocks bulk pressure wash hose, crimp couplings, and in dustrial pressure wash reels. We are also able to supply custom built pressure wash assemblies based on your needs. Please contact us directly for more information.
