Brass cam-locks are used where the application requires corrosion resistance or extra strength. They are popular in marine refueling where durability, salt water resistance, and non-sparking features are all important. G65BR couplings are manufactured from copper alloy grade 377 to the Commercial Item Description (CID) #A-A-59326B specification. Female couplers are supplied with locking clips.
Polypropylene cam-locks are fiberglass reinforced for extra strength and are often used where weight is a concern. All sizes come com plete with stainless arms while female couplers are supplied with locking clips. Both the polypropylene cam-locks and the standard EPDM gaskets they come with are FDA compliant and suitable for a wide range of chemicals.
