171... THERMOPLASTIC GREASE LINE Pulsar’s Thermoplastic Grease Line is suitable for both manual and automated grease and lubrication applications. This highly exible, high pressure hose is commonly used as the main line in central lubrication systems. Its unique construc tion allows for working pressures up to 4000 psi while the polyurethane cover provides excellent abrasion resistance to stand up to the most rigorous environments. 171 Thermoplas tic Grease Line is designed to be used with our 3700 Series Reusable Lubrication Couplings for easy assembly in the eld or on location without the need for any special tools or equipment. RUBBER LUBRICATION HOSE

111-03… GREASE LINE – SAE 100R1AT 111-03 is a medium pressure, single wire braid hose which meets the requirements of SAE 100R1AT and EN 853-1SN. This rubber 3 ⁄ 16 ” hose is ideally suited for grease lines allowing for better exibility at low temperatures and better life and coupling retention compared to other grease lines found in the market today. Tube : Seamless oil resistant nitrile rubber. Reinforcement : One high tensile steel wire braid. Cover : Oil, abrasion, and weather resistant black synthetic rubber. 111-03MM… GREASE WHIP HOSE ASSEMBLIES Grease whips provided a exible connector between the grease gun and grease tting to allow easier access to the tight and awkward spaces where grease nipples always seem to be located. Our grease whip hose assemblies are rubber to remain exible at low temperatures and feature a wire braid for better service life and coupling retention. End ttings are solid brass and feature a 1⁄8" male pipe (NPTF) thread complete with a ball seat to seal with either tapered pipe or NPSM swivel pipe female threads. Please note, longer lengths are available on request.

G880B… NYLON GREASE TUBING

Fractional Tubing Designed speci cally for lubrication and grease applications, G880B fractional tubing features higher working pressures when compared to standard nylon tubing. Nylon has good abrasion resistance, stays exible at low temperatures, is resistant to most chemicals, and is stabilized against UV rays making it ideal for outdoor use. Sold by the ft, G880B fractional tubing features a 4:1 safety factor and is in com pliance with UL94 HB. Construction : Smooth, black, polyamide 12 tubing. Durome ter rating Shore D 70. Temperature Range : -50°C (-58°F) to 93°C (200°F). Metric Tubing Used in central lubrication systems to connect the distribu tion unit with the different lubrication points, G880B metric tubing is heat and UV resistant and has excellent resistance to grease, oil, as well as a wide range of fuels and chemicals. With higher working pressures compared to standard nylon tubing, this semi-rigid nylon grease tubing features a 3:1 safety factor and is in compliance with DIN 73378. Grease Filled Tubing For those customers that require it, G880B grease lled tubing is available in 25 m lengths, pre lled with NLGI EP #2 grease. This natural coloured, lithium based, multipurpose grease features increased oxidation stability and corrosion protection and provides protection against frictional corro sion and abrasion. It is commonly used for greasing appli cations that include roller bearings, high and temporary compressive loads and vibrations, and high temperatures. It is excellent for use in all kinds of central lubrication systems.

LUBRICATION NIPPLES

Grease ttings, also referred to as grease nipples, Zerk t tings, or Alemite ttings are found on mechanical systems and machinery and serve as lubrication points for bearings or other mechanical components. With a history dating back to the 1920s, grease ttings still nd widespread use today. Their unique design provides a secure connection between the nipple and grease gun coupler to allow for the precise delivery of grease while preventing against contamination. Grease ttings are available in a variety of shapes to t any application.

The SAE-LT tapered thread is the most commonly used thread in the automotive industry for lubri cation applications and is found on many other industrial machines and equipment. PUSH-TO-CONNECT LUBRICATION TUBE FITTINGS

Designed speci cally for medium pressure grease applications, these push-to-connect ttings nd widespread use in central and automatic lubrication systems in a variety of industries in cluding construction, agriculture, transportation, and industrial machinery. Construction : Nickel-plated brass construction with Nitrile O-ring and brass gripping collet. Gripping collet on fraction al tube sizes is nickel-plated for easy identi cation. Male threaded ends on elbows are swivel style to allow easy orien tation during installation. Temperature Range : -20°C (-4°F) to 80°C (176°F). Pressure Rating : 1160 psi at 20°C (68°F). Pressure ratings of tubing may be less. The lower of the two will determine the pressure rating of the system. Insertion Depth : 0.669” (17 mm). Recommended for use with : Nylon grease tubing.

1 Cut the tube square and remove any burrs or sharp edges that may damage the internal O-ring on the tting.

2 Insert the tube until it bottoms, then pull the tting back to ensure it is secure.

3 To release, press the release ring while pulling the tube out from the tting.

Safety Note : To prevent accidental disconnection, ensure no components come into contact with or place any unwanted pressure on the release ring during operation. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Grease blocks are used to connect hard-to-reach machine bear ings to a central point for easy access. Grease blocks are avail able with either 4 or 6 female pipe (NPTF) straight-through grease connections, spaced 0.79” apart, and come complete with two 6.5 mm mounting holes. Note : Grease nipples are sold separately.

Pistol grip grease guns allow for one handed use when dis pensing grease freeing the other hand to hold the grease whip or coupler in place. Pulsar’s pistol grip grease gun features an aluminum die cast pump head and a knurled barrel for a non-slip grip. Complete with a 5” steel extension, protective rubber cap, grease coupler, and air release valve, simply ll this grease gun with a standard 14 oz. cartridge or bulk load and you are ready to grease. The included plunger stopper mechanism makes cartridge replacement easy. This grease gun delivers 0.7 grams of grease per pump and is rated to 4500 psi with intermittent pressures up to 7300 psi.

Pulsar’s heavy duty lever grease gun features a cast iron pump head with a chrome plated nish and a knurled barrel for a non-slip grip. G13GC… GREASE CARTRIDGES

Red Stick 2 nds widespread use in agriculture, construction, logging, trucking, and mining applications where demanding water washout or shock loading protection is needed and is an optimal chassis lubricant for on and off-road equipment. This premium duty, extreme pressure, lithium complex grease includes superior rust and corrosion protection while its distinctive red colour helps to quickly identify the grease and detect defective bearing seals. Red Stick 2 is recommended for industrial and anti-friction bearings including wheel bearings in equipment with disc brakes. It is not recommended for small anti-friction bearings operating over 5000 RPM. Note : Tacky additives used in the formulation of this grease make it hard to pump. A heavy follower plate or pneumatic pumping system may be required. Red Stick 2 is not recom mended for central lubrication systems. Big Blue MP2 is an optimal chassis lubricant for on and off-road equipment and is recommended for disc brakes, fth wheels, and universal joints, as well as all types of ball bearings including plain, heavy loaded, journal, needle, and ball and roller. This premium, multi-purpose, lithium com plex grease has been formulated to withstand a wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to 204°C) and includes superior rust and corrosion protection for moving parts under extreme pressure. Big Blue MP2 is an excellent choice for most sealed-for-life bearings and nds widespread use in agriculture, construction, logging, trucking, and mining applications where water resistance and shock load abilities are required. Black Bull Moly is a popular choice for rock crushers, oil eld applications, offshore drilling, and marine deck equipment. This premium duty, extreme pressure, lithium complex grease has been formulated with molybdenum disul de and other selected additives to provide added protection and water resistance. With added oxidation inhibitors that allow for high temperature applications over extended periods of time, superi or rust and corrosion protection of moving parts under extreme pressure, and water-resistant properties, Black Bull Moly is an excellent choice for most sealed-for-life bearings, as well as disc brake and chassis applications, fth wheels, and universal joints. It is not recommended for small anti-friction bearings operating over 5000 RPM.

For best results, please adhere to the following recommendations: ■ When calibrating gauges, choose a calibration pressure that is in the middle range of the gauge (between the ten o’clock and two o’clock position of the dial). ■ Remember to prick a hole or cut the tip off of the vent plug to bring the internal pressure back to atmospheric pressure. ■ Ensure all gauges are mounted upright to avoid uid leakage.

NYLON CABLE TIES

We carry a range of nylon cable ties for a variety of applica tions. Our white nylon cable ties come in both standard and miniature sizes and are rated for indoor use. SUPPORT CLAMPS

Our Plastic Hose Guard is a at, plastic, armour guard designed to offer both abrasion and kink resistance. This lightweight, plastic coil is made from abrasion and petroleum resistant thermoplastic and can also be used to bundle multiple hose lines together.

G6 Support Clamps are made from galvanized steel and are dipped in vinyl to prevent cha ng. When compared to our more economical G6N Rubber Cushioned Support Clamps, our G6 Support Clamps provide a cleaner looking installation when supporting pipe, tubing, cables, or hose. They feature a 3 ⁄ 4 " wide heavy duty strap and 13 ⁄ 32 ” bolt hole.

G6N Rubber Cushioned Support Clamps are used to support pipe, tubing, cables, or hose. They have a 1 ⁄ 2 " wide galvanized steel strap tted with a rubber liner to prevent cha ng. The bolt hole measures 0.256”.

Our PGH is a heavier hose wrap commonly found in extreme applications in forestry and mining. G6B… NYLON SUPPORT CLAMP

G6B Support Clamps are made from black nylon, are UV resist ant, and meet the UL94V-2 standard for use as cable sup ports for electronics. Their lightweight, exible, and compact construction makes them perfectly suited for tube and cable support applications in a variety of environments including outdoor and marine applications where traditional metal sup port clamps may corrode. In the 1⁄4" size these clamps feature a 0.39" band width, while all other sizes have a 0.47" band width. All sizes have a 0.19" diameter bolt hole.

Construction : Convoluted, black, medium density polyethylene (G830) or nylon 6 copolymer (G830N), split along length. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 93°C (200°F). G830N rated to 125°C (257°F). Split Conduit or Split Loom, as it is often called, provides a convenient method for bundling electrical wires in a variety of applications.
