ABRASIVE MATERIAL HOSE

The extremely abrasion resistant gum rubber tube in G741 allows it to stand up to most non-oily bulk materials such as gravel, sand, and fertilizers. The tube is also certified to FDA food grade standards, making it suitable for grains, corn, sugar, and other foodstuffs. Tube : Smooth, tan, 3 ⁄ 16 " thick, ultra abrasion-resistant natu ral gum rubber that is certified to FDA standards. Reinforcement : Double wire helix plus static wire embedded between layers of synthetic textile cords. Cover : Corrugated, brown, wrapped finish, weather and abra sion resistant rubber. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 70°C (158°F). Fittings: Because natural rubber is quite soft, it is difficult to obtain good fitting retention with punch clamps or band & buckles. On pressure applications, G38 Double-Bolt Clamps may be required.

G725… DRY ICE

For environmental reasons, dry ice is becoming popular as an abrasive instead of sand, since it leaves no residue except the material removed during the blasting process. G725 is designed to remain flexible despite the cold temperatures inherent in using frozen carbon dioxide. Extreme caution is required during this process, since there is risk of frostbite and also of carbon dioxide buildup in the air in confined spaces.

Tube : Smooth, black, anti-static synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to abrasion. Reinforcement : Spiral layers of textile cords. Cover : Black, anti-static, weather and ozone resistant synthetic rubber. Temperature Range : -55°C (-67°F) to 130°C (266°F).
