TANK TRUCK HOSE

G1641C… URETHANE DROP HOSE

Tube : Clear polyurethane, suitable for gasoline and petroleum products with up to 50% aromatic content. Reinforcement : Polyester fabric reinforcing with embedded copper static wire for positive grounding, and a green spiral PVC helix. Cover : Clear urethane cover with distinctive green helix. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 65°C (150°F). Working Vacuum Bend G1641C is different from other PVC gasoline drop hoses currently found in the market. It has a unique polyurethane tube that, along with being lightweight, combines the advantages of good chemical resistance and low temperature flexibility. G1641C is now green to signify that it is suitable for use with ethanol (up to E98) and biodiesel fuels that conform to ASTM D6751 (up to B100). This product comes complete with a static wire to ensure positive grounding when properly coupled.

G1640C… URETHANE VAPOR RECOVERY HOSE

Construction : Clear polyurethane tube suitable for gasoline and petroleum products and vapors, supported by a yellow spiral PVC helix with embedded copper static wire for grounding. Temperature Range : -40°C (40°F) to 65°C (150°F). Vapor recovery hoses are used on fuel delivery tankers to reduce hydrocarbon emissions at service stations and bulk terminals. G1640C has the same biofuel approvals as G1641C, and the same added benefits that come from a urethane hose including flexibility in sub-zero climates, abrasion resistance for long service life, and lightweight handling for ease of use.

G1600BC... BANDING COIL

When attaching couplings to corrugated hoses, banding coils make band application easier and neater by creating a smooth surface for clamping. One banding coil can be cut in half to provide enough coil to couple both ends of a hose. The coil is threaded onto the hose helix at each end prior to fitting installation. Clamps are then applied over the coil and helix. Safety Note : Any hose being used to transfer gasoline or gasoline vapors must be bonded to ground to prevent the risk of static build up. Assemblers must be trained to correctly bond the copper static of the hose to the metal end fittings and test the conductivity. Instructions are available upon request.
