G948... HI-VAC CRUSHPROOF SUCTION G948 is an extremely flexible hose, even in winter weather, due to its all-polyethylene construction. With no rigid steel helix or hard PVC, G948 will spring back to its normal shape after being crushed. These features make G948 popular on utility and municipal service trucks, such as septic pump trucks, where compact storage and ease of use are important. G948 comes complete with fusion bonded over-molded cuffs to ensure a leak-free performance. Construction : A co-extrusion of polyethylene compounds. The tube is smooth to prevent material build-up. The cover is corrugated to provide full vacuum service while maintaining flexibility. Interior : Smooth, abrasion resistant, yellow polyeth ylene. Exterior : Corrugated, abrasion and weather resistant polyethylene. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 65°C (150°F).
