WATER BLAST HOSE

Tube : Smooth, black, heat and oil resistant synthetic rubber. Reinforcement : Four or six spiral plies of high tensile steel wire. Cover : Black, ozone and weather resistant synthetic rubber with a wrapped finish. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 100°C (212°F). Fittings : Factory installed special water blast fittings. All Water Blast hose assemblies are tested to 1 1 ⁄ 2 times working pressure before leaving our facilities and are fitted with special male NPT threaded fittings on assemblies rated up to 15,000 psi and type "M" female swivel fittings on assemblies rated to 21,000 psi. Other lengths are available by special request. Water Blast hose is often found in hydro-demolition (concrete breaking using water instead of a jackhammer). It is also used for cleaning large tanks, heat exchangers and pipes, as well as for removing marine growth on ships and piers. Since only water is used in the work, rather than chemicals or abrasives, water blasting is an environmentally friendly method of cleaning and surface preparation. 153, 154 & 155… WATER BLAST
