G302... THERMAL HEATER

Tube : Black EPDM rubber designed to withstand radiator additives and high heat conditions. Reinforcement : Four spirals of high-tensile yarn, with blue insulating layer. Cover : Smooth, red, heat, ozone, and weather resistant EPDM rubber. Temperature Range : -40°C (-40°F) to 121°C (250°F) Most black or red standard heater hoses have a single layer of reinforcing yarn provided by a single braid or two opposing spi rals of fabric. G302 has two separate layers of two spirals each, separated by a blue insulating layer. The extra reinforcement allows for a higher burst pressure and greater kink resistance. Thermal Heater is designed to meet the high heat and ozone conditions found under the hoods of today’s automobiles and meets or exceeds SAE J20R3 D2 performance requirements.

G304 can also be used for light-duty saturated steam service where pres sures do not exceed 90 psi.
