FLEXIBLE METAL HOSE

Flexible metal hoses are generally selected where rubber or plastic hoses are not suitable such as in permanent piping installations where flexibility is required, extreme high or low temperature applications, and corrosive, combustible, or toxic environments. Flexible metal hoses offer a robust design that can stand up to abrasion and permeation while also reducing vibrations, accommodating thermal expansion, and, when com pared to rigid pipes, solves alignment issues in piping systems. You can find flexible metal hose in a wide range of applications and facilities including refineries, chemical plants, steel plants, gas production plants, and HVAC systems. All Green Line metal hose assemblies are built to order with welded end fittings and are 100% tested before leaving our facilities. Green Line can supply a limitless variety of fabricated metal hose assemblies. A few of the most common sizes and configurations are provided here. For additional options, please contact us directly.

Tube : Annular corrugated Type 316L Stainless Steel. Reinforcement : One braid of Type 304 Stainless Steel. Fittings : All end fittings are factory welded and 100% tested. Temperature Range : Hoses can work at temperatures up to 800°C (1500°F), however working pressures decrease as tem peratures increase. All flexible metal hose assemblies are custom made to order. Please allow 7-10 days delivery.

Please note, additional charges and lead time will apply to assemblies that require the following: Degreasing & Cleaning : Some applications, such as oxygen service, require degreased, cleaned, and capped assemblies. CRN Number : If the application falls under provincial regulatory bodies and legislation for boilers and pressure vessels, a CRN (Canadian Registration Number) may be required. Most high heat water and steam applications will require a CRN.

CSA Approved : To meet CSA standards, flexible metal hose assemblies must have schedule 80 male NPT end fittings, permanently attached CSA labels, and be tested according to CSA standards. Specialty Application : For alternative materials, such as Type 321 Stainless Steel or Monel, or configurations, such as double braid or flexible armor casing, please contact us directly. Spe cialty service products are also available including flexible metal hose assemblies for cryogenic, natural gas, oxygen transfer, and chlorine transfer applications.
