Food Hose requires a tube that will not contaminate the food product being conveyed. In the same way that rubbers and ther moplastics are formulated to handle different chemicals, gases or materials, they are also made to suit various foods. For example, oily products will require an oil-resistant tube compound, while other hoses may be formulated more for heat or abrasion resist ance. As well as the specialty hoses listed here, Green Line offers a variety of unreinforced tubing styles that are made from food grade compounds. Included in these is clear vinyl tubing, which is widely used for the transfer of wine, beer, and other fluids. Please see the Tubing Section for information on these products.

G910… CLEAR BRAID

Similar to our G911 Vinylite® hose, G910 Clear Braid is made using compounds in compliance with FDA and NSF-51 require ments. The red longitudinal tracer allows the hose to be easily identified, while the increased working pressures make G910 suitable for a variety of industrial applications including air supply, potable water supply, feed lines on carpet cleaning equipment, and pneumatic lines on air-operated equipment. G910 provides a more economical option compared to other clear braid water hoses without sacrificing performance. Tube : Clear PVC that is formulated in compliance with NSF-51 and FDA requirements. Phthalate free. Reinforcement : High tensile spiralled yarn with two red lon gitudinal tracers for easy identification. Cover : Smooth, clear, abrasion and weather resistant PVC. Temperature Range : -5°C (23°F) to 65°C (149°F).
