FOUR-LUG UNIVERSAL FITTINGS

MINING HOSE FITTINGS

Four lug universals are still occasionally found in pulp mill wash down and other mill applications. As with standard universals, they should be used with safety clips. Use G29C Interlocking Bolt Clamps as well as G29R Hose Restraint Cables when attaching these fittings. Not recommended for steam or compressed air service.

G19 series fittings are unique to the mining industry and are not typically found in other applications. Our mining fittings are made from plated steel. HOSE RESTRAINTS

G29WS… WHIP SOCK HOSE RESTRAINT

Hoses can whip if they become accidentally uncoupled or tear away from the fitting. G29R safety cables act to control whipping in the event of a failure. To function properly, restraint cables must be installed in a fully extended position with no slack.

Whip Socks slide over air hose and attach to the compressor to control whipping if the hose tears away from the fittings.
