DOUBLE-BOLT CLAMPS

These double-bolt clamps are made from plated ductile iron. In the smaller sizes ( 3 ⁄ 4 " to 2") they are popular for hydraulic suction lines, while larger clamps are often used for irrigation and general suction and discharge service.

Spiral double-bolt clamps are designed to provide superior sealing on corrugated PVC suction hoses such as G941W, G941WT, and G1741. It is important to note that different manufacturers may use either a clockwise (right-hand) or counter-clockwise (left-hand) helix in their hose. To determine the spiral of your hose and the clamp you require, use the graphic provided below. LEFT-HAND OR RIGHT-HAND HELIX SPIRAL? To determine the direction of your helix, look at the end of the hose. If the helix spirals in a clockwise direction away from you it is a right hand helix. If the helix spiral in a counter-clockwise direction away from you, it is a left-hand helix.
