LINCOLN INTERCHANGE COUPLINGS

UNIVERSAL COUPLINGS

Universal couplers are designed to accept the most common styles of 1 ⁄ 4 ” nipples; Automotive, Industrial, and Aro. These couplers also interchange with the European high-flow style offered by Cejn, OBAC, and Nitto. The design of these couplers combines the easy push-to connect feature while still maintaining a sleeve coupler profile to prevent accidental disconnection when hoses are dragged. Universal style couplings employ a different valve design than common North American parts that allows much higher air flow rates (see chart below).

Our Lincoln Interchange couplers come with hardened steel balls and stainless steel springs. Our plugs are heat treated to reduce wear on mating surfaces. Lincoln Interchange couplings are easily identified by the long plug end.

These nipples interchange with Cejn 320/410 European style couplers as well as Rectus 25KA/27KA series couplers. In the 1 ⁄ 4 " body size, we offer safety nipples that feature a locking groove that prevents accidental disconnection and will connect to Rectus 25KS series couplers. These nipples will also connect to our Universal Couplings in addition to our Premium High-Flow Cejn Interchange Couplings.
