"SURELOCK" STYLE UNIVERSAL FITTINGS Please note, these fittings WILL NOT interchange with other Universal fittings. Originally developed in Australia for use in the mining industry, “Surelock” style couplings are designed for use with air or water and are commonly found in underground mining applications in Eastern Canada. These couplings are rated to 200 psi, offer quick and easy connection and disconnection with very little force required, and with their specially designed high pressure gasket, will not leak at low pressure. To ensure that couplings are fully con- nected, and to prevent accidental disconnection, safety clips should always be used. These fittings are not designed for steam service and should only be attached using crimp ferrules or sleeves.
