TEMPERATURE GAUGES

This temperature gauge is commonly used to monitor water tem- perature in winter where freezing will cause problems. The 2.5" long rod is back mounted and can be inserted into the water flow via a tee junction or 1⁄2" NPT pipe plug. The face is 3" diameter.

Our Bi-Metal Thermometers are manufactured in accordance with ASME B.40.3 standards for maximum accuracy and quick response. Made from Type 304 Stainless Steel, these back-mounted thermometers feature food grade, shatter-proof glass windows and are available with either 2 1 ⁄ 2 " or 4" long stems. Choose from temperature ranges of -20°C to 120°C or from 10°C to 260°C. To prevent damage to the thermometer and facilitate easy removal from processing, the use of a thermowell is recommended.

Thermowells are recommended for use in food processing to both pro- tect the thermometer from damage as well as enable removal of the thermometer for replacement or repair without affecting processing. We carry thermowells designed to accept either 2 1 ⁄ 2 " or 4" stem ther- mometers. They are manufactured from Type 316 Stainless Steel and feature 3 ⁄ 4 " Male Pipe (NPT) process connections for easy attachment to our Compact Female Pipe Clamp Adapters. Instrument connections are 1 ⁄ 2 " Female Pipe (NPT).
